about teaching and learning. A K-12 teacher, specialist, staff developer,
university instructor, principal and educational ambassador, Susan
is an advocate for parents, students and teachers. In working with
each Susan has come to know, experience and appreciate the many ways
in which teachers can create caring and effective classrooms. Susan
is the Executive Director of the Heart of Learning Foundation that
supports professional growth for teachers and scholarship opportunities
for students. She lives in Pleasanton, California with her son and
daughter.
